Content that comes from experiences in choosing, riding, building, racing, and being involved with recumbent bikes, people and events. There are many sites out there with tons of information. Some are just that, information of any and all kinds that is not directed at anything specific. Others have practical information, which include building plans for many different aspects of making a recumbent. Others are geared to promote manufactures of equipment and accessories. Each and every one fills a niche`. It would be fun to claim this is the “end all-be all” site about recumbents. That would be a gross exaggeration of the truth. My aim is to get you interested in recumbents period! What is shared here are the personal experiences of the last four years since starting to ride these incredible bikes. So just enjoy yourself as you surf through the pages. Building this site has been another experience that might never have been accomplished except for SBI! Site Build It and Ken Envoy, have made putting this site together a “Can Do” reality. My ability was never the issue, just the desire to do it! There is no previous experience in building anything more serious than a single web page, and in one year there were about 200 hits that accidentally stumbled onto the site. Half of those were probably mine just checking it! There are a lot of programs out there who will tell you how to do it. You will end up overwhelmed like I was.
